FAQs
How long will it take to clean my drive?
Depending on the size of the area and amount of staining most drives and patio areas will be
cleaned within one day.
How long will it take to re-sand my block paved drive?
Re-sanding can only take place once the area is completely dry – usually 24 to 48 hours after
cleaning, weather permitting.
We use only the very best kiln dried grade A sand to complete your block paving and give it
that "Brand New" look. Again the work should be finished within one day.
What about weed prevention?
Following cleaning the jointing sand in the block paving will be set rather than loose, this
prevents weeds taking root in the joints.
Will there be any disruption?
There will be the obvious machinery needed to carry out the cleaning process but your drive
will be kept as clean and tidy as possible and when the work is finished your drive will be left
clean and tidy and you will never know that we have been-Apart from the fact that your drive
will look stunning!
Will the process damage my block paving?
No – the flat surface cleaner used on drives and paths, etc, is designed to provide even
pressure washing. This technique will not undermine sand infills or damage the surface. The
equipment used is regulated and can be adjusted accordingly to suit different surfaces and
materials.

Can you remove stains?
Yes – mould, mildew, algae, paint, mortar and even oil stains can be completely removed.
(our engineers will advise on individual stains as age and the porosity of the material can
affect the outcome)
Will I have to stay off the surface after cleaning?
No-After your surface has been cleaned it is ok to walk on and to drive your cars onto,but we
advise not to park vans or other heavy vehicles on the driveway untill the re-Sanding has
taken place-which will be done only when the surface is bone dry
